River to River Florence Indian Film Festival

River to River Florence Indian Film Festival will be held from 7 to 12 December 2012.

As every year the Festival, supported by Regione Toscana and Fondazione Sistema Toscana, will be held in the very beautiful Odeon theatre. 

Over the years this festival, which is undoubtedly one of the most important european festival dedicated to Indian cinema, presented the most interesting films in the subcontinent. 

Last year they were awarded the following films:

Feature films: Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara by Zoya Akhtar

Documentaries: Himself He Cooks by Valerie Berteau and Philippe Witjes

Short films: Prakata Het Yad by Milind Dhaimade.

Then we'll see in Florence from 7 to 12 December.
